Day 6: SIGHISOARA & SALINA TURDA

When travelling to Romania, you’ll fly into Henri Coandă International Airport (IATA: OTP), located near Bucharest, the capital city. This is the main international gateway to Romania. From here, our adventure begins! Use the Skyscanner form below to find the best flight options for your journey.
Are airport transfers included?
Airport arrival transfers are not included. Once you arrive at Henri Coandă International Airport, you can organise an public transport, or an Uber to ensure a seamless transfer to your accommodation, alternatively our friendly Indy Escapes can help you organise you transfers through a trusted provided. At the end of the tour, your departure transfer is included, so we’ll also arrange your return transfer to the airport for a hassle-free departure.
Is Romania safe?
Romania is generally considered a very safe destination for travellers. It has a low crime rate, especially in the countryside and smaller towns where the majority of our trip takes place. As with any travel destination, we recommend being mindful of your belongings in busy urban areas like Bucharest.
Is it OK to travel solo?
Absolutely! Romania is an excellent destination for solo travellers, especially when travelling with Indy Escapes.
